Music has always been my primary passion. I have been playing piano for sixteen years, accompanying for eight years, and teaching lessons for five years. In addition to piano, I play bassoon, and have been doing so for the past twelve years (four years collegiately).

In May 2020 I graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha Wisconsin, where I completed a double major in both Music and Biology. When I began college, I was unsure of my career path. Instead of beginning college as an undecided student, I chose to pursue two majors. While studying, I realized my true passion for music and performing. Since my graduation I am working as a free lance musician, while auditioning for collaborative piano graduate programs.

At Carroll University, I was involved in numerous ensembles. I have played bassoon in the wind ensemble for the past four years, and have been involved in the jazz ensemble, marching band, and pep band. Carroll University gave me wonderful opportunities to apply myself, meet professional musicians succeeding in their fields, and travel abroad.

In the summer of 2019, I was granted the opportunity to travel to Italy, performing in various cities with Italian musicians. It was a humbling experience, and has broadened my perspective on music. In addition to Italy, I have traveled within the country, to Michigan to perform with the College Band National Directors Association's honors band.
